J. C. Douthat

J. C. DOUTHAT, age 77, of White Pine, TN passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his home. Preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Ruth Douthat; parents, Estel and Flora Douthat; sisters, Elizabeth Belle Stroud and Jo Edna Fancher; brother, Hal Douthat. He was retired from BASF and was of the Methodist faith. Survived by sisters, Frances McPherson (Charles), Lucille Stroud, Juanita Warwick Mayes (Earl), Colleen Lawson (Tom) and Shirley Jones; brother, Rex Douthat (Ruth); several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Carolyn Reese; sister-in-law, Pat Dunlap. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at First United Methodist Church of White Pine with Rev. Greg Douthat officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Friday morning at Jarnigan Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
