J. W. Arwood

J.W. ARWOOD, age 82, of White Pine, TN passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2006 at his home. Preceded in death by parents, John and Bertie Winstead Arwood; sisters, Mary elizabeth Masoner and Dora Mae Arwood. He was owner of Arwood Materials Company and a veteran of World War II. Survived by wife, Hazel Arwood; children, Roger Arwood, Bo and Lisa Arwood, Ronald Arwood, Eric and Tammy Arwood, Rhonda Sue Arwood, Glenda Smelcer and Steve, Vickie Russell and Mike, and special friend, Teresa Arwood; eight grandchildren, eight gret grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Rev. George Askew officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Hamblen Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
