Ivan "Ike" Eugene England

IVAN EUGENE “IKE” ENGLAND, age 66 of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born October 1, 1948 in Williamson, West Virginia the son of the late William C. and Ola Mae (Marcum) England, Sr. He was a decorated Vietnam veteran receiving the Purple Heart, Navy Commendation Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal while serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. A retired coal miner, Ike moved to Dandridge about 20 years ago. He is survived by his brother, William C. “Bill” England, Sr. and his wife, Patricia; sister, Bobbie Williams and husband, Charles; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Graveside funeral services with military honors by the Volunteer State Honor Guard will be held Monday, December 29, 2014, 9:30am at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy., Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
