Irma Counts Cate

IRMA COUNTS CATE, age 81, of New Market, TN (Dumplin Community), passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith and preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Cate. Irma was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family dearly. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Vann and husband, Jim, and Melissa Owens and husband, Dennis; sons, Dale Cate, Charlie Cate and wife, Wanda, and Dennis Cate; grandchildren, Mary Jones and husband, Roy, Scott Cate and wife, Sherry, Ben and Candace Cate and Chelsey Reed; four great grandchildren; special friends, Robin Cate, Jack and Martha Messamore and Glenda Johnson. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Cate Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Brooks officiating.
