Iris Louise Sikes

IRIS LOUISE SIKES, age 64, of Dandridge, TN passed away at Jefferson Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 9, 2011 after a lingering illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frances Marion Moore and Grace Whittenbarger Moore; and mother, Wanda Patterson Moore. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jim Sikes; daughters, Wanda and husband Jerry Watson, and Grace Jones; grandchildren, Chelsie Dalton and Blake Ball; brother, Roger and wife Sherry Moore; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. The family would like to extend a special thank you to nephew Brad Ward for all his help and attention. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Pollard Cemetery in Kodak at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Glenn Ballinger officiating. There will be no formal visitation but friends may call at their home. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, Knoxville Office, 900 E. Hill Avenue, Suite 240, Knoxville, TN 37915.
