Irene Marie Morgan Marks

IRENE MARIE MORGAN MARKS, age 86, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. She was born and raised in Grainger County, was a member of Cedar Hill Church of God and was retired from Magnavox. Preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Nannie Daniel Morgan. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, John L. Marks; brothers, Lyle ?Bud? Morgan, and James ?Jim? Morgan (Sue); nieces, Diane Greenlee and Tina Byrd; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Earnest Shaffer, Shirley and Dairl Keith, Earl and Margie Marks, Virgil and Linda Marks. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Bryant Collins and Rev. Jon Sims officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 1:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 1:30 p.m. graveside interment service.
