MARTIN, age 88, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away March 29, 2005 at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church and the Strawberry Plains Eastern Star. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene Martin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Robert Stallings of Knoxville; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Kay Martin of Dandridge, Bill and Wanda Martin of Morristown; grandchildren, Micah Sherard, Sandi Dennis, Gina Averett, Randall Stallings; great grandchildren, Ellie Averett, Wesley Averett, Chloe Averett, Jayden Dennis; sister, Dorothy Codgill; brother, Bruce Watson. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Bruce Martin and Reverend Jerry DeZearn officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
