Inez Hance Dockery

Inez Hance Dockery, age 94, was born September 5, 1920 in Dandridge, TN. She was an active member of Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church. Inez graduated from Maury High School and Morristown School of Business. She was an insurance administrator for Bush Brothers & Company for 25 years. She served as Secretary of Jefferson County Farm Bureau Board of Directors from 1988 to 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert P. Hance and Grace Thornton Hance; husband, Paul Dockery; sisters, Mary Kate Thornton and Ann Hance. She is survived by her children, Geraldine George (Bill), Sandra White, Diana Greene, Robert P. Dockery (Candace), Elaine Harper (Bobby); grandchildren, Michael George (Robin), Stephen George, Pamela Radford (Dan), Sheila McMahan (DanJean) Janet Gates (Ben), Julie Inman (John), Karen Isaacs (Tim), Christopher Dockery, Kane Dockery, Kyle Dockery, Meredith Campbell (Michael), Paul Harper. Great Grandchildren: Lacey and Kaitlyn George, Jessica Turner (Geoff), Stephen Ronan, Grant and Melody McMahan, Alex and Benjamin Williams, Ashton Inman, Myleigh and Mia Campbell. Great- Great Grandson Geoffrey Knox Turner; Sisters, Robbye Wilson, Pauline Bishop and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to caregivers and the University of Tennessee Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Chestnut Hill UMC Building Fund or Hills Union Cemetery Fund. Funeral services Friday, March 20, 2015, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Wilson officiating. Interment graveside services, Saturday, 11:30am at Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon and evening, 3:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
