Ina Sandidge Frazier

Ina Sandidge Frazier was born in Maryville, TN on February 27, 1924. She died at her home in Jefferson City, TN on November 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lottie Sandidge; her husband; Don Frazier; and her brother, Leonard Sandidge. Ina Frazier graduated from Carson-Newman College. She married Don Frazier on July 29, 1949. She and Don were missionaries to Nigeria with the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for 33 years, (1956-1990). She is survived by her seven children, daughter-Gail Hill of Montreal, Canada, son-Steve Frazier of Fort Belvoir, VA, son-Ken Frazier of Lakeland, TN, son-Dale Frazier of Ft. Smith, AR, son-Brent Frazier of Taejon, South Korea, daughter-Beth Vining, of Signal Mountain, TN and son-Scott Frazier of Dandridge, TN. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at First Baptist Church, Dandridge, TN on Wednesday, November 16, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The memorial service (celebrating her life) will be at the church, following the receiving of friends. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens the following day, Thursday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to First Baptist Church, Dandridge (Lottie Moon Offering for missions).
