POE GRAY, age 87 of White Pine, TN, devoted mother and grandmother, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday morning, November 24, 2004. She died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lewis Gray; daughter, Betty Taylor; granddaughter, Michelle Gray; parents, Frank and Nettie Bridges Poe; brother, George Poe; and sister, Francis Moore. Survivors include her daughters, Charlene Ramsey and Virginia Denton, both of White Pine; son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Wanda Gray of White Pine; son-in-law, Gordon Taylor of Chestnut Hill; grandchildren, Sherry Cox, Deanie Brady, Evelyn Rines, Terrie Weems, Tommy Taylor, Tammy Killion, Pam Rathbone and Brandi Reece; 16 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 25, 2004 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Scott Gorrell, Reverend John Price and Reverend Bobby Kitts officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2004 at the funeral home to proceed to Taft Cemetery in Chestnut Hill for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
