IMOGENE B. CHAMBERS, age 91 of Dandridge entered her Eternal Rest on Sunday, January 24, 2021. As one of the oldest members of Grants Chapel United Methodist Church, she served as Pianist for many years. She was a gracious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, caring for many members through her lifetime. Her gentle nature will be her legacy.
Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and Grandson-in-law, Charlie Williams, who she loved dearly. Survived by her husband of 72 years, James (J.T.) Chambers; son, Reverend Darrell Chambers; granddaughter, Tahra Williams; great grandson, Lawson Williams; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Elmer and Dorinda Hilbun.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00am at Grants Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Vanessa Wallace, Reverend Bill Rimmer and Reverend Darrell Chambers officiating. Friends may call at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge on Tuesday, January 26 from 9:00am until 4:00pm. The family would like to thank Smoky Mountain Health and Hospice for their care and support during her illness.
