Ilene H. Martin

ILENE H. MARTIN, age 81, of New Market, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 after a lingering illness. She was a retiree of the Town of Dandridge. In later years she also worked as the Marketing Director for Regency Healthcare of Morristown and the Darby House in Jefferson City. Ilene was a member of the Dandridge O.E.S. and George Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosie and Bert Howard; brother, Johnny Howard; sisters, Georgia Sinclair, Rose Ann Gregory, Trula McDaniel, Buela Caudle and Ginnie Wolfenbarger. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Trent M. Martin, Sr.; son, Trent (Kenny) M. Martin, Jr. and wife, Shalea; daughter, Vickie Ownby and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Kelsey Martin, McKenzie Martin, Bethany McCarter and husband, Edd, Matt Ownby and wife, Melanie; great-grandchildren, Jonas McCarter and Lyla McCarter; sisters, Mary Farmer and Bertie Watson. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
