ILA "BLANCHE" CATE

ILA "BLANCHE" CATE, age 93, of the Dumplin Community, New Market, TN passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was a member of the Dumplin Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cate and daughter, Helen Cate Raines. Survived by grandson, Jeff Williams and wife Angie; great-grandson, Chad Williams; brother, Bobby (Deloris) Cate; and many other special relatives that she loved dearly. The family wished to express a special thank you to the Jefferson County Nursing Home and the Franklin Cottage for their special love and care of Miss Blanche. Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Josh Moore and Rev. Kyle cate officiating. Interment graveside service will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Cate Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
