Ida Mae Carathers

IDA MAE CARATHERS, age 96, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at home. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, George Carathers; sons, Gene and Harold Carathers; brothers, Hobert Jones and Alvin Gene Jones. Survived by son, Sam Carathers (Gail), Leslie Carathers (Joyce), and Eddie Carathers (Angie); special granddaughter, Patricia Phillips; and several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Jones; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rick Doty and Rev. Brian Rhodes officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service..
