RIMMER, age 89 of Dandridge, Tennessee (Piedmont Cemetery), passed away Friday, January 30, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church and a retired foreman from Cunningham Cone Drilling in Salem, VA. Veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II, and was a member of VFW Post #3380. He is survived by his wife, Emma Sue Hicks Rimmer; sisters, Kathleen Hill and Ona Pearl Denton, both of Dandridge; brothers, Eugene ?Wimp? Rimmer of Dandridge and Franklin Rimmer of White Pine; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Piedmont Baptist Church with Reverend Marshall Knight, Reverend James Kinser, and Dr. Clyde Tilley officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday prior to services at the church.
