Hugh Lee Lamb

Hugh Lee Lamb, age 82, of Talbott, TN, founding member of Community Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 14, 2020 with his loving family at his side. He was choir leader at Community Chapel for many years. His faith was not only shown through his song ministry but also through 38 plus years of perfect attendance in Sunday School. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Minnis & Gussie Lamb; brothers, Rev. Paul Lamb, Harold Lamb; and sister, Viola Cluck. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Lamb; son, Danny (Rayette) Lamb; daughter, Teresa (Scott) Cline; grandchildren, Ben Lamb (Amberlee), Nick (Peyton) Cline, Katie Lamb (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Pilot Lamb, Maverick Pratt, Machlan Pratt, Knoxlee Lamb; brothers, Bill (Judy) Lamb and Ralph (Nila) Lamb’ and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2020 at Community Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Caldwell and Rev. Lynn Neas officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment. Family will receive friends Monday evening 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Church prior to the funeral services Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City, TN
