Hubert B. (Junior) Herron

HUBERT B. (JUNIOR) HERRON, age 78, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 6:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was retired from Swann's Bakery as a bread truck driver with 35 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Mary Herron; five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Golda Herron of the home; sister, Edith Seals of New Market; sisters-in-law, Isabella Herron of Jefferson City, Helen Herron of Morristown and Betty Johnson of Jefferson City; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Mary Cox of Jefferson City, Roscoe and Cecilia Cox of Jefferson City, Riley and Alma Cox of Jefferson City, Gerald and Barbara Cox of Jefferson City; special niece, LaDonna Johnson and several other nieces and nephews; two special nurses, Brenda and Kathy. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Ken Thorton and Reverend Dwayne Whittington officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning at the funeral home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
