He was a graduate of The Academy of Aeronautics, and was a Systems Analyst Engineer with General Electric, Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict with three years service in Hawaii, having served with the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents, Philip J. and Helen R. Bullock Fleckenstein. He is survived by his wife, Jane Hutton Fleckenstein of Baneberry, TN; children, Eric Howard Fleckenstein of Silver Spring, MD, Sara Jane Fleckenstein-Moore and husband, Charles R.
