Homer Smith

HOMER SMITH, age 72, of White Pine, TN passed away Sunday morning, May 20, 2007 at Newport Health Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of the Leadvale Baptist Church and was retired from Vulcan Materials after 40 years of service. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Roosie and Myrtle Smith; sister, Daisy Broyles; brothers, Harold B. and Donald Smith. Survived by wife, Ida Belle Smith; brothers, J. C., Howard, James and Clyde Smith; special friends, Pat Wice and George Deering and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Charles Robison officiating. Interment graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Coleman Cemetery.
