Hilda Wadsworth Hamilton

HILDA WADSWORTH HAMILTON, age 90, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at NHC Knoxville. She was a member of Strawberry Plains Presbyterian Church and a long time resident of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nora Wadsworth; husband, William A. (Bill) Hamilton; brother, Fred R. Wadsworth; sister, Virginia Tracy. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Sue of Nashville, TN, Mike and Kathy of Strawberry Plains, TN, Randy and Jody of Cleveland, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Ed and Betty Bingham; seven grandchildren, Amy Culpepper, Todd Hamilton, Megan Bruening, Lori Grantham, Chris Hamilton, Lori Manning, Andy Hamilton; fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening, October 10, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Dennis Maxey officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather 1:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Strawberry Plains Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
