Herman E. Kerr

HERMAN E. KERR, age 76, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2011 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. He was the son of the late W. O. "Bid" and Georgie (Kinder) Kerr. Herman was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of White Pine and was retired from the New Jersey Zinc Mines and the Jefferson County Highway Department. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Kerr; son, James McKinley; sister, Helen Denton; brother, M.C. Kerr. He is survived by his children, Linda Lane and husband Dwight, Brenda Wolfe, Donnie Kerr and wife Sherry, and Wayne McKinley and wife Terri; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Everett (Darlene) Ker; sister, bdetty Bohanon. Funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church in White Pine. Family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. prior to the service.
