HERBERT RUSSELL JOHNSON, age 53, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of South Knoxville, who was born March 18, 1955, passed away April 21, 2008 in Jefferson County. He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Parton Johnson; his parents, Ray and Mima Jane Johnson; brother, Sherman Carroll Johnson. Survived by brothers, Gary Lynn Johnson, Kyle Eugene (Fran) Johnson, Phillip Jay Johnson; sisters, Debbie and Jimmy Thomas, Amanda and Andrew Strange; children, Jennifer Dennis, Travis Parton and grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; also special companion, Mary Randall and her daughter. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with the service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Reverend Garland Long and Reverend Dennis Rimmer will officiate. The family will meet at Farrar Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. to proceed to Hillcrest Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
