(Bangs) Brabson, age 82 of Jefferson City, TN passed away 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at St. Mary?s Medical Center in Knoxville following a brief illness. He was a member of Boyd?s Chapel United Methodist Church, a retired brick mason, and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lucy Brabson of the home; daughter, Angela C. Boyd of Jefferson City; two grandsons; brothers, Earl (Mary Alice) Brabson of Strawberry Plains and Elmer (Inez) Brabson of California; sister, Maxine Tuggle of Strawberry Plains; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with the Reverend E. O. Cole and Reverend Janice Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
