He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired from Ford Motor Company and member of U.A.W. Union of Indianapolis, Indiana. Member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge, TN. He was a long-time resident of the Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge and the family wishes to thank the staff for the loving care and dedication they have given him. Preceded in death by parents, Rilda Mae and Henry Wilson and sister, Marie. He is survived by wife of 52 years, Joyce A. Wilson; daughter, Deborah Kay Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Sabrina L. and Bryan White; grandchildren, Ian and Miranda Morelan, Alyxandria, Heather and Lucy White; sisters, Opie and Mary Wilson. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Robert McCray and Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Family and friends will gather at Shady Grove Cemetery on Wednesday for a 9:00 a.m. graveside interment service will military honors by East TN Honor Guard.
