OBITUARY: Henry D. Johnson age 82 of Jefferson City and formerly of Illinois, passed away 2:15pm Thursday, January 8, 2004 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center following a brief illness. Member of Jefferson City Assembly of God. Veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Army. Retired from John Mansville Corporation with 20 years of service. Preceded in death by parents: Lewis and Edith Johnson. 5 Brothers and 1Sister; Grandson: Tommy D. Barker. Survived by Wife of 57 years, Colleen J. Johnson. Sons: Lewis (Carol) Johnson of Illinois, and Neil (Karen) Johnson of Wisconsin. Daughters: Karen (Wayne) Dillon of West Virginia, LaRee (Bill) Pitts of Illinois, and Diane (Wally) Grover of Arizona. 13 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Graveside Funeral Services 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Larry Pike officiating. Family will receive friends Monday Evening January 12, 2004 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
