She was a member of Oak Hills Baptist Church and was retired from Berkline. Preceded in death by father, C. S. Newman, Sr.; mother, Audrey M. Newman; daughter, Helen Kichman. She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Loveday; daughters, Henrietta Nowill of Harlem, GA and Michael and Adrianne Wise of Wolverine, MI; grandchildren, Michael Nowill, Heather Nowill and Randall Nowill, Jr., Layla Self, Derek Kickhan, Stacey, Tammy and Wesley Wise of Wolverine, MI; great grandchildren, Elaja and Trevor Self; son-in-law, Lance Kichman; several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Rick Doty officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Hillcrest Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideon Organization or to Oak Hills Baptist Church Building Fund.
