Helen M. Hickman Howard

HELEN M. HICKMAN HOWARD, age 85, of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday evening, September 8, 2008 at Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home. She was a life long resident of the Piedmont community and a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. A retired employee of Tennessee Handbags with 35 years of service, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending her flower garden. Preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Lena Hickman; husband, William H. "Bill Joe" Howard; sisters, Ruth Chambers; brothers, Donald, Ray, Paul and Hal Hickman. She is survived by her sons, Mike Howard of Dandridge and Ronald Howard of Clinton, MS; grandchildren, John Michael and Stephen; sisters, Clarice Maples and Dot Lipsky; brother, Wallace Hickman. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with Reverend Rob Chambers and Reverend Chad Chambers officiating. Interment graveside services will at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Piedmont Cemetery with Reverend Bob Neal presiding. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
