Helen Buffat Hendrix

Helen Buffat Hendrix, age 85, of Dandridge, TN passed away on Friday, May 16, 2003 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge, charter member of the Dandridge Senior Citizens and was active in the Martha Dandridge Garden Club. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Elbert Hendrix; daughter and son in law, Rebecca and Alan Hedin of Silver Spring, MD; and grandson, Douglas Hedin of Annapolis, MD. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home chapel in Dandridge with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Interment graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2003 at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Dandridge, P. O. Box 246, Dandridge, TN 37725 or to the Dandridge Area Senior Citizens.
