Helen L. Carmichael, 75, of Dandridge passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid seamstress and quilter, Helen worked along side Buck running the family business, Carmichael Tractor and was a founding of Smoky Mountain Patchworkers and active member of various artisan guilds. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Ada Cupp, sister, Mary Jones. Survivors include: Husband of 56 years, Buck Carmichael, children: Jeanie Miller (David), Buddy Carmichael, brother: Dean Cupp (Pat), also several nieces, nephews and special friends, pallbearers will be; Cannonball Richards, Charles Crosby, Charlie Anderson, Sid Ownby, Michael Quinton and Tom Smith. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Wednesday, August 21 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in White Pine. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 22 at 10:00 am at Ebenezer Methodist Church followed by the burial at Ebenezer Cemetery. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church
