Heather McKeehan Davenport, age 45, passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, May 30, 2015. She was born on September 29, 1969 in Baltimore, MD to Marleen Greenberg Stewart and Michael Stewart. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her son, Logan McKeehan; husband, Adam Davenport; her father, Michael Stewart; sisters, Megan and Courtney; brothers-in-law; Peter Worstell and David Porter, step-mother, Diane Edwards, step-sisters, Kelli Habicht and Kristi Edwards. Heather's biggest and greatest quality was how she was always placing the needs of her patients, friends and family above her own. She was quick to forgive, and she could always make friends wherever she was. She was a collegiate diver for James Madison University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree and then she received her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.autismspeaks.org. A memorial service honoring Heather's life will be held this Sunday, June 7th at 2:00 in the afternoon at Concord Park, Shelter #6 located at 10901 S. Northshore Drive, Knoxville, TN. Those that wish to attend are asked to bring a folding chair if available. There will be light refreshments for those in attendance. Please feel free to bring pictures if you would like to share. Flowers that are sent to the funeral home will be delivered to the memorial service.
