Hazel Jewel Roberts Moore, age 77, of White Pine, Tennessee, passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2002 at Jefferson County Nursing Home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie Biddle Roberts and her father, Maurice Roberts; sister, Betty R. Proffitt; uncle and aunt, Ruben and Maude Biddle. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of White Pine where she served as organist and pianist for a number of years. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Home Economics. She taught at Pleasant Ridge School, Kansas School, Jefferson City High School and White Pine High School. She was owner and operator of the Moore Insurance Agency where she retired. Survived by husband of 56 years, Max M. Moore of White Pine; daughters and their husbands, Linda and Joe Graziano of Farragut and Teresa and Warren Wolf of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Markus Camfield and wife, Barbara, Mary Catherine Graziano, Robin Wolf and Joseph Graziano; great granddaughters, Megan and Emily Camfield; cousin, Carl Biddle and wife, Dorothy of Talbott; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov 17, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church of White Pine, with the Rev. David Brannock and the Rev. Don Moore officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 146, White Pine, TN 37890.
