Hazel Ruth Montgomery Yeary Gaddis

HAZEL RUTH MONTGOMERY YEARY GADDIS, of White Pine, TN, born June 13, 1918, went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2009 at Heritage Center Nursing Care after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lilly Montgomery; sisters, Mary Stanley and Sharon Pond; brothers, Marshal, Howard and Arvel Montgomery; daughter, Beulah Longworth; her husband of 39 years, Thomas Yeary and her husband of 25 years. Cleo Hal Gaddis. She is survived by son, Ralph (Francis) Yeary of Russellville; daughter, Loretta (Harold) Wallen of White Pine; grandchildren, Gail (Steve) Hopkins of Morristown, Carla (Dale) Hurst and Tommy (Christina) Wallen of White Pine, Sammy (Lauren) Yeary of Morristown, and Lisa (Scott) Bell of Maryville; great-grandchildren, Josh Hopkins, Leslie (Scottie) Renner, Rachel Hurst, Derek Hurst and Maleah Wallen, all of White Pine; sisters, Francis Foulk and Peggy Owens of Kentucky; brothers, Henry Montgomery of Maryland, Tipton Montgomery of Ohio, and Floyd, Kenneth and Eugene Montgomery of Ewing, VA. She also had many nieces and nephews who loved her and she will be missed. She was of the Christian faith and loved flowers. The family would like to thank Heritage Center Nursing Care, Caris Healthcare, Amedisys Health Care, Aid and Assist; Dr. Ramaprasad, all the nurses and staff of the 4th floor at Morristown Hamblen Hospital, and Misty of home health. The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine Tuesday evening, September 29, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will also be receiving friends at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose Hill, VA Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. The graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning at the Yeary Cemetery in Ewing, VA.
