Member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church since 1950. Retired employee of Shelby Williams and Food City of Morristown. Preceded in death by her husband, Ray Knowling; her parents, Hardin and Cornelia Ingram; brothers, Bob and Bill Ingram; grandson, Tommy Scott Knowling. She is survived by sons, Keith (Ann) Knowling of Petersburg, VA, John (Vivian) Knowling of Talbott; daughter, Mary Ruth Hopkins of White Pine, TN; grandchildren, Toni (Bruce) Dear, Teresa (Eric) Swink and Ervin (Shirley) Knowling, all of Virginia, Kathy (James) Hayes of Talbott, Regina (Frank) Smith, Lisa (Pete) Hickey, all of Morristown, Tammy (Roscoe) Horner of White Pine; 13 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at White Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Ted Phillips and Reverend Phil Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Community Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine.
