Hazel I. Reneau Walker

Hazel I. Reneau Walker, age 90, of White Pine, TN passed away on October 27, 2013 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems after a brief illness. She was a faithful member of several area churches. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Reneau; grandson, Christopher Reneau; brothers, Oscar (Pete) Ray and P.D. Ray; sisters, Thelma Jones and Lockie Griffin. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, James (Pete) Walker; son, David Reneau and wife Rita of White Pine; daughters, Anna M. Hicks and husband Jack, of Rogersville, Mary McCarter and husband Mike of White Pine; brother, Joe Ray and wife Dolly of Youngstown, OH; five grandchildren, Deidre Johns, Jason Jarnigan, Jessica Holt, Amy Antrican and Patrick Hicks; eight great-grandchildren. She was also loved by a host of step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Jack Greene and Rev. Ray Swann officiating. Graveside interment will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013, 10:00am in White Pine Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
