Hazel Fern Deering Bible

Hazel Fern Deering Bible, age 72 of White Pine, TN passed away Sunday morning at her home following an extended illness. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was very caring who had a great love for kids. Fern was a member of the First Baptist Church of White Pine and had served on the White Pine City Council. She was retired as cafeteria manager of the White Pine School following 26 years of service. She is survived by her husband, William Clarnece Bible, Sr. of White Pine; daugher and son in law, Ginger and Mike Presley of Kingsport; sons and daughters in law, William C. Bible, Jr and wife Amy S. Bible of Johnson City and Grover Allen Bible of Morristown; grandchildren, Layney Bible, Brittany Bible and Zachary Bible; brothers, George, Ben, Gene and John Deering; sisters, Betty Alexander and Margie White, all of White Pine. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2003 from the First Baptist Church of White Pine with Rev. Randy Irons and Rev. Fred Lehrer officiating. Interment graveside services will e 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at White Pine Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the church prior to services.
