Hazel Lucille Case

Hazel L. Sims Case, age 90, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on July 10, 2015 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. She was saved at an early age and was a member of Stokely Chapel Baptist Church for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, William L. and Josie A. Sims and her husband of 65 years, William L. (Bill) Case, several brothers and sisters, and one son-in-law, James Gann. Survivors include children, Phillip (Priscilla) Case, Peggy (Pete) Shiflet, Carolyn Gann, Brenda Ingram, Sandra (Paul) Mullins, grandchildren, Marietta Case, Julie James, Samuel Case, Sherrie Harris, Tony Purkey, Angela Livesay, Tim Gann, Sean Tilley, Brian Tilley, Sonya Rines, William Chapman, Josh Mullins, and Misty Cline, 21 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Robert Case, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Brother Ed Parton and Pastor Wayne Wyatt officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 15,2015 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
