Harvey Pratt

HARVEY PRATT, of Talbott, TN, born July 13, 1929, died on Monday, December 22, 2003 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. ?Thank you, God, for the life of Harvey (Jack) Pratt, and thank you for his new life through Jesus Christ your Son. Harvey lived his life for his family and was a member of Alpha Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Army, and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Fred and Vina Pratt; grandson, Fhilmore Little; and his first wife, Della Faye Pratt. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Fay Pratt; children, Peggy Lilly and husband, James of Talbott, Hazel Pratt of Talbott, Jeannie Watts of Talbott, Brenda (Sam) Pratt and Wayne Phippen of Morristown, Kayron Crawford and husband Larry of Weaverville, NC, Debby Owenby and husband Larry of Asheville, NC, Connie Case and husband, Bill of Dandridge, Edward Ballard and Kevin Ballard of Talbott; sisters, Madge Brown and husband Ray, of Red Star, KY, Marie Roberts of Connersville, IN; Claudia Adams and husband George, of Beech Grove, TN; brother, Leonard Dale Pratt and wife, Lois of Talbott. He was Papaw to Anthony (Tony) Ballard, Della Faye Hanson and husband Chad, Carrie Ann Fleenor and husband Will, Cynthia Marie Parker, Katherine and Chris Wheeler, Robin Loufek and husband Jim, Edward Nathanial Ballard, and Douglas Cody Jack Watts. He was Papaw Jack to Randy Adams, Jayne Martin and husband Robby and Layney, also Jessica, Jennifer and Charlotte Woodard. He is also survived by an extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles in Tennessee and Kentucky. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Thomas James officiating. Graveside interment service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
