Harse William "Bill" Laws

Harse William "Bill" Laws, died on March 16, 2003 at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was born in Jonesborough, TN in 1937, served in the United States Marines, worked at the Kingsport Press in Kingsport and the Citizen Tribune newspaper in Morristown during the late 60's and 70's and owned and operated Environmental Salvage of Morristown for 25 years. He is survived by his children, William Stacy Laws and Eva Meria Laws, five grandchildren, sister Anna Ruth Hale and three brothers; Roy Laws, Benny Hale and Robert Laws. He will be missed by his caregiver, Ethel Laws Rhodes, her children and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church on Thrusday evening, march 20 at 7 p.m The family will receive friends at the church at 6 p.m. before the service.
