OBITUARY:
HARRY L. NEDHAM, age 89 of Hummelstown, PA, formerly of Auburn, CA and Jefferson City, TN, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 in Twin Oaks Nursing Center in Campbelltown, PA. He was born April 22, 1914 in Auburn, CA, the son of the late Harry L., Sr. and Iona A. (Schoenau) Needham. Mr. Needham was a licensed mortician and retired owner/operator of a fabric sales company in California. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City, TN and attended Fishburn United Methodist Church in Hershey, PA. Member of the Grand Council Order of DeMolay; a 50 year member of all the following Masonic Bodies: Woodland Lodge # 81 F & A M in Woodland, CA, Ben Ali & Kerbela Shrine Temples, all three Yorkrite bodies of Morristown, TN; and the Jefferson City Shrine Club. He was also an accomplished trumpet player, an avid fisherman, Boy Scout leader, hospital volunteer, volunteer driver for the Shriner?s Children?s Hospital, and a member of the Yolo County Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his wives, Olive Rose (Turnbull) and Ella M. (McCloud) Needham. He is survived by two sons, James P. Needham of Hummelstown, PA and W. Leonard Needham of Bencia, CA and eleven grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Janice Robinson officiating.
