Harold T. "Woody" Romines

HAROLD T. "WOODY" ROMINES, age 87, of New Market, TN passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 following a brief illness. He was the son of the late Joe and Grace Morie Romines. He was a member of the French Broad Baptist Church, a veteran of the U. S. Army-Air Force and World War II,was retired from Asarco Zinc Mines and the patriot Hills Golf Club. Preceded in death by brothers, Jim, Buddy and Dennis "Dink" Romines; sisters, Helen Allen, Mary Hart and Joan Fain. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nadine Cox Romines; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carol Romines of New Market; grandchildren, Jocelyn (Andrew) Rimmer and Stephen (Brittney) Romines; great-grandchildren, Matt Romines and Drew Rimmer; sisters, Hazel Rimmer of Dandridge, Barbara "Sudie" Franklin of Clinton; brother, Jack Romines of White Pine; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Earl McCosh and Rev. Sam Hinchey officiating. Interment graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
