Harold W. Woods

Harold W. Woods, age 92, of New Market, TN passed away suddenly 3:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a lifetime member of Mill Springs Baptist Church. He was a highly respected and sought after superior custom home builder for over 60 years. He was a quiet, Godly man who loved his Lord, his family, and his farm. He was preceded in death by his parents, G.C. and Mancie Woods, brother, Ira Hartley, three other brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Ilean Woods; daughters, LouAnna (Randall) Dyer, Hartley “Linda” Woods Miller, all of Jefferson City, TN, Debbie (Bob) Brotherton of Ringgold, GA; son, H. Michael (Paula) Woods of New Market, TN; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body will lie in state Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mill Springs Baptist Church. Graveside celebration to follow in Mill Springs Cemetery with Preacher Derrick Woods and Pastor Greg Lindsey officiating.
