Harold N. Hance,born April 5, 1939, of Dandridge, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 2, 2002. He was a longstanding member of the First Baptist Church, Dandridge, TN, a member of the Brazelton Lodge No. 190 F.& A.M. 32nd degree mason and a member of the Scottish Rite; veteran of the United States Army and was a retired employee of LeSportac Inc. He was a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of integrity, possessed of wit and wisdom who treated his neighbor with kindness and concern. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred Hance and Genevieve Potts Hance; sister, Emma Sue Hance. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Janice Dennis Hance; daughter, Susan Hance; son, Michael Hance and daughter-in-law, Grace Emmert Hance; daughter, Sherry Hance Manning and son-in-law, Doug Manning; grandchildren, Marcus Manning and Molly Kate Hance; mother, Gladys Hance; siblings and their spouses, Jane Shadrake, Bill and Evelyn Hance, Martha and Jimmy Blackburn, and Joan and Elmer Hurst; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Firday, october 4 at 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Dandridge, TN with Dr. Robert D. McCray officiating. The family will receive friends Friday prior to the memorial service from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tennessee Baptist Children Homes through First Baptist Church, Dandridge, Tennessee, P.O.
