Harold Dockery

HAROLD DOCKERY, age 82 of Dandridge, TN died Sunday, November 11, 2018, after a brief illness. Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and was a veteran of the US Air Force. After retiring from BASF, Lowland, TN after 35+ years, he enjoyed golfing, playing Bluegrass & Country Music on his Banjo, flying his plane, and Square Dancing with his wife Mary Phyllis. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Phyllis; parents Dewey & Partie Dockery of Chestnut Hill; sister & brother-in-law Helen & Robert Miller. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law Kim & John Bennett; grandchildren John Bennett, Jr. and Stefanie (Aaron) Matthews; great grandson Bennett Matthews; brother-in-law Ron French; nephews Sandy (Kathy) Miller and Andy French; niece Lindsey (Gavin) Saha; and 4 great nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2018, 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Robert Brown officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 6:00pm prior to services. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, 11:00am at Hopewell Presbyterian Cemetery for the graveside interment service with military honors.
