Harold Dwight Denton

Harold Dwight Denton, age 79, of New Market,TN passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at Tennova Hospice following a brief illness. He was of the Methodist Faith. He was born and raised in Jefferson County where he was a prominent farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, William (Bud) and Anna Vee Denton. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty S. Denton; daughter, Darla Denton of New Market; step son, Darrell Snyder of Knoxville; daughters, Jean Ann Tucker of Knoxville, and Judy McElhaney of Morristown. Family and friends will gather 10:30 a.m. Wed. Aug. 20, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home.
