Hal "Mousie" Shaffer

Hal "Mousie" Shaffer, age 73, of Talbott, TN passed away at his home on Monday, January 7, 2013. He was a member of Brown's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife;, Marie Shaffer; step-sons;, Leroy Hutsell and Phillip Parks Hutsell; sisters, Missing and Maxine Wagner; brothers, Carroll, Cornelius and Gomer Shaffer. Survivors include his children. Ada (Red) Shults, George Hutsell, Jane (Gary) Blair, Ginger (Steve) Denton and Vanessa Thornhill; granddaughter, whom he raised and still lived with, Amy Cooper; 17 other grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mable Gammon and Dorothy "Dee" Olson ; brother-in-law and fishing buddy, Ole Olson; also several nieces nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. James Seal and Rev. J.W. Dalton officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Military graveside interment will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00am in Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
