Hal H. Sellars, born September 27, 1914 went home to be with the Lod at his home after a brief illness on March 24, 2003. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of White Pine. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Fred M. and Ellen Sellars; sisters, Nine Denton, Stella Lunce, Hassie Denton, and brother, Harley Sellars. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Briggs) Sellars; children, Joyce and Jack Russell, Martha Bailey, Brenda Sellars, Bobbie and Robert Lowe, Terry and Kath8i Sellars; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. His guardian angel was Lisa Branner (Granddaughter). His special caregiver was Ricky Bailey (Grandson); special friends, Raymond Rines and Louise Howard; three nephews, Robert, Dexter and Tommy Denton; one niece, Linda Hall. He was a former employee of US Steel in Jefferson City and retired from Bush Brohters Canning Company in Chestnut Hill. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Calvary Baptist Church in White Pine with Rev. William Bradley officiating and eulogy by Mr. Charles Briggs. Graveside interment services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003 in the Balch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in White Pine prior to the service. Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, TN (865) 397-2711
