Hal C. Hodges

HAL C. HODGES, age 90, of New Market, TN passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at his home. He was a member of the Dumplin Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. A prominent farmer of Jefferson County, he was former owner and operator of Hodges Milling Co. and was the Master Miller at Dollywood for the last 24 years. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Rebecca Hodges; children, Mike (Pat) Hodge of Dandridge, Roger Hodge of Knoxville and Rebecca (Kevin) Hodge Isom of Fairfield Glade, TN; grandchildren, Patricia, Meredith and Lindsay; sister, Golda Jones; brothers, Noah and Ralph Hodges. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Joshua Moore officiating. Interment graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning at Hillcrest Cemetery.
