Hal Gaddis

HAL GADDIS, age 89, of White Pine, TN passed away Monday afternoon, April 10, 2006. He was born and raised in the Sandy Ridge community of Jefferson County and was the son of the late J. J. and Dora Reese Gaddis. Preceded in death by sisters, Maggie Bull, Lela Brimer and Florence Gaddis; brothers, Bill, D. R., Tinsley and Luther Gaddis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and World War II, and a member of the V.F.W. Post # 3380. Survived by wife, Hazel Montgomery Gaddis of White Pine; son, John Gaddis of Knoxville; step-children, Ralph Yeary and Loretta Wallin; step-grandchildren, Lisa Yeary, Steven Yeary, Tommy Wallin, Carla Hurst and Gail Hopkins; sisters, Jenny Mae Case of Dandridge and Rozella Caton of Cleveland, OH. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Tommy Wallin officiating. Interment graveside services with military honors will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Hillcrest Cemetery.
