"POP" FERGUSON, age 80, of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday, May 14, 2007. He was a Christian and was affiliated with several churches in the Dandridge area. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, having served in World War II. He was a retired vice-president and general manager of Morristown Iron and Metals of Morristown. Survived by wife, Dora Odum Ferguson; children, Steve and Libby Ferguson, Chris and Gail Ferguson, Joy and Vet Parker; grandchildren, Shane and Kim, Jason, Donnie and Ryan, Tiffany, Heather, Haley and Stephen; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Spangler; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Troy Duncan and Rev. Samuel "Vet" Parker officiating. Interment graveside services with military honors by East TN Honor Guard will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville.
