Gregory Wendell Evans

GREGORY WENDELL EVANS, age 45, of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was an employee of Young Mines in Strawberry Plains. Preceded in death by his son, Gregory Marquis Kyle and father, Joseph Evans. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 24 years, Sarah Evans; daughters, Jessica and Acacia; son, Kam?Ron, all of the home; mother, Anna Rhea Evans; sister, Teresa (Mark) Evans; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Joyce Evans, Terry and Sandra Evans, all of Dandridge; mother-in-law, Rosemary Loving of Lansing, Illinois; father-in-law, Michael Gardner of Detroit, Michigan; sister-in-law, Nancy Gardner of Detroit, Michigan; brothers-in-law, Michael Garnder, Jason Empson, Terrence and Darrell Williams, all of Detroit, Michigan, Calvin Cleaves of Memphis, TN, Danny Holmes of Houston, TX; aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of close friends. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Steve Simpson, Reverend Mike Branner and Reverend Frances Branner officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
